Export a backup from Trace settings and save it in a location you trust. To restore, select the backup yourself using the system file picker.
Uninstalling the app deletes data in its local container. Export a backup before deleting Trace or changing devices. Without a backup, the developer cannot recover your local data from a server.
Open Trace and make one data change, then return to the Home Screen. If the widget still does not update, remove it and add it again.
Trace requests the relevant permission only when you add a local image, take a photo, or create a reminder. Declining a permission does not affect core features that do not require it.
